Deactivate Product Structure

Once a Product Structure is finalized through Freeze Product Structure option, it can not be deleted but can be deactivated through this option.

IMMS provides a facility to deactivate a particular Product Structure without having the need to delete it. A deactivated Product Structure can NOT be accessed anywhere throughout IMMS.

Field Description of Deactivate Product Structure

Parent:

Select the Parent Item for which the Product Structure has to be Deactivated.

Click on the field to access a list of Parent Item for which Product Structure has already been frozen through Freeze Product Structure option. Select your desired Item from the list by scrolling down to it and pressing <ENTER>. Alternatively you can also enter the Item Code.

Tip : Entering the initial first characters of an item will display the list of items accordingly.

Detail Description:

Automatically displays the Detail Description of the selected Parent Item Code as specified through Item Master Basic Details - Entry option for your reference. You can NOT change it.

Child Item Details

Once a Parent Item is selected, its Product Structure and other details are displayed in a list for your reference as below -

The left side of the screen displays a list of all Child Items including the intermediate Make Items and Assembly Items. The first Item on the list is the SJO Parent Item. You can expand the Product Structure of the Make / Assembly / Feature Item by clicking on it or on '+' sign. Similarly click on '-' sign to collapse it.

The right side of the screen displays the Production Structure of the currently selected Make / Assembly Item along with some other details. For rest of the Child Items, this section will be blank.

Click on 'Save' icon to finally Deactivate the Product Structure or 'Cancel' icon to discard.
